THOUGHT: Do all that you do "as unto the Lord." When we do something,
we should do it as if Jesus were standing there watching us. If you think
about it, HE IS! All that we do and say is recorded in heaven. The New
Testament teaches us to work for our employers with the same morality
Christ would, to deal with our friends and loved ones as Christ would.
"Do unto others as you would have others do unto you." Can you
imagine what the world would be like if all of us followed the "Golden
Rule!?"
Then, sometimes there is nothing left for us to do but
praise God! While we may sometimes dream of doing great things for God
and his Kingdom, the dreams aren't as big as God's plans. While we may
be talented, influential, powerful, or even rich, these are merely tools
in God's hands, not symbols of our sufficiency. "God is able"
is one of the best phrases in the Bible. It refers to His work in you
in me. He is able much more than we imagine to work through and in us.
What can we say to that? Hallelujah! \o/
PRAYER:
"Loving Father, please help me better know and live your will. I
want to be your vessel of ministry, healing, blessing, and hope to those
around me at all times. Please use me to your glory today and every day
thereafter. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen."
