DOES GOD SPEAK TO ME?
1 John 4:4

WARNING: STOP NOW BEFORE YOU GET IN DEEPER! This is a very different Devotional. It is very personal, and it is for you. If you ever wondered or doubted if God speaks to you, wonder and doubt no more. Today, God is speaking directly to you. If you will stop and listen, this message can save you lots of money, it can save your marriage, it can keep you from having to go to prison, it can bring you the peace and joy your life is missing, it can literally save your life. Will you please take a moment right now, and listen to what God is saying to you today? He is saying, "STOP NOW BEFORE YOU GET IN DEEPER!"

Not one person reading this message today is immune from the attacks of satan. Not only that, satan knows where you are the weakest. Through trial and error over the years, satan has found out where you are weak. Please, don't ever think you are so strong you have no more weak places in your life. If Jesus, the only man to live a sinless life had to pray and read and study God's Word to remain strong, how much more must we pray and read and study God's Word? No my friend, we ALL have those places in our life where we are weak, and trust me, that is exactly where satan is going to attack you.

Let me repeat again the word God has for YOU today, "STOP NOW, BEFORE YOU GET IN DEEPER!"

Every person is different. For a person who has no problem staying pure sexually, their weakness may be gambling. For a person who never drinks, their weakness may be food. For a person who honors God in their finances, their weakness may be lust. For a person who would never take drugs, their weakness may be treating people poorly. The fact is each person is unique, and while they may be strong in one area of their life, they struggle in other areas. The key is to be honest with yourself, admit that you are weak in certain areas of your life so that you know where the enemy is going to attack you and can focus on staying strong in that area.

Let me repeat again the word God has for YOU today, "STOP NOW, BEFORE YOU GET IN DEEPER!"

I want to encourage you today to do one of the most difficult things in life there is. Be honest enough with yourself to admit that you have a problem in your life, and ask God to help you get victory over that problem. My friend, it is not a matter of IF God will help you, it is only a matter of IF YOU WILL ASK HIM! You see, God is there, simply waiting for you to call out His name. He is there to give you His strength and to help you get victory over those weak areas of your life. It is not a question of if God is willing and able, it is a question of are you ready to give those weak areas of your life to God!

God is confronting you TODAY, and today, NOT tomorrow is the time to stop. Each day you drink, each day you do drugs, each day you abuse food, each day you gamble, each day you fornicate or commit adultery, each day you mismanage your finances, each day you neglect to address the areas of your life you are weak, you simply get in deeper and it becomes more difficult to get out. Each day you allow your weaknesses to exist, the enemy gets a stronger hold on your life to separate you from God. Never forget that satan's goal is to kill, steal, and destroy...YOU! Eventually, your weaknesses will destroy you and in many cases, kill you.

I realize that to stop doing those things in your life that have become strongholds is very difficult. God will give you the strength. God will give you the courage. He will help you if you will let Him. Never forget that precious promise in 1 John 4:4., " You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world."

You might not have another chance!
