The LIGHT OF THE WORLD banner symbolizes Jesus as "The Light in a dark place" or "The Perfect Life amongst a sinful world." The banner is made of black Tafita, Yellow Satin, gold sequines, several bright colors of lahme for the cross, mirrors, gold ribbon, 2 brass bells, and black fringe - for movement.

The Stained Glass Cross symbolizes light, as well, as Stained Glass windows which reflect such beautiful light. The red heart in the very middle of the cross stands for the love Our Lord has for us and the red triangles at the head, wrists and feet areas stand for His shed blood for the redemption of our sins.

The black background symbolizes the blackness of evil and sin while the yellow reflects bright golden light. The 2" by 2" mirrors hanging on each side of of this banner (not able to be seen here) also reflect bright light. The brass bells stand for strength, as our Lord was a strong light to this world.
